The main object of the thesis is to declare the rules and criteria anti-competitive practices in Omani Marker and to examine the effectiveness of the legal technique used by Omani legislator to regulate and control competition in the Omani. This thesis examine the regulations of Omani Competition Protection and Monopoly Prevention law that was promulgating by Royal Decree No.67/2014 The Royal Decree has been issued within the Sultanate's efforts to improve the legislative structure of commercial competition in order to comply with the requirements of economic developments at the international level. The thesis examine rule protecting faire competition and its exceptions, and declare practices concentration with faire competition such as monopoly, economic concentration, according to the Omani Law of protection of faire Competition and prevention of monopolization. The thesis contains a comparison between the Omani law the Egyptian Law on the Protection of Competition and Prohibition of Monopolistic Practices.
