The study aimed at identifying the relationship between Psychological abuse, Perceived mental pressure and mental health, with 135 respondents. The researcher used the scale of psychological abuse by Jacobson & Gottman (1998) And Cognitive Stress Scale (Cohen, 1994) and the mental health Scale of its owner, Veit & Ware (1983). The results showed that was a significantly different in the incidence of mental abuse in the following categories : (very high 4. 4%, high 5. 9%, average 8. 2%, low 11. 9%, very low 69. 6%). There were correlations between the varibles studied in general. The results of study showed apositive relationship between psychological and psychological abuse and mental health as well as negative relationship between stress and mental health. As for number of years of marriage, there were differences in mental health. There were no differences in psychological stress. Differences geographical area of the Sultanate (Muscat Governorate, Sharqia). And differences in the variable marriage and other for benefit of unmarried. While the differences did not appear in other variables dealt with by the researcher (age, number of children, educational level ,age of husband and arrangement wife).
