This study aimed to determine the degree of availability of organizational trust dimensions within the directorates general of education across Oman and its relation to the creative management behavior of their employees.
in order to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive-correlational approach was used. The researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of (54) paragraphs divided into two main areas: (a) Organizational trust and (b) Creative administrative behavior. Once verified and validated; the study was applied to the sample population amounting to (1156) people from the directorates general of education across Oman who hold the posts below the directors of departments and section heads. To answer the questions of the study, the T test and the one-way analysis of variance were used.
The most remarkable findings of the study are as follows:
. The degree of organizational trust within the directorates general of education in
Oman with respect to the two dimensions of trust in the co-workers and the trust in the direct supervisor was high, while the degree of trust in the dimension of the senior management was moderate. There are no statistically significant variances for the degree of the organizational trust dimensions within the directorates general of education in Oman which are attributable to the gender variable with respect to the two dimensions of trust in co-workers and the direct supervisor. There are statistically significant variances for the dimension of trust in senior management in respect of males. . For the variable of academic qualification, there are statistically significant variances in the two dimensions of the trust in co-workers and trust in supervisor in respect of the holders of bachelor's degree. . For the variable years of experience, there are statistically significant variances in the dimensions of trust in co-workers and trust in the direct supervisor in respect of staff with over 10 years of experience. . As for the degree of practicing creative administrative behavior for employees in the directorates general of education in Oman, the degree of practice was high in all dimensions of the creative administrative behavior.
• The findings of the study also clearly show that there are no statistically significant
variances in the degree of practicing creative administrative behavior by the employees of the directorates general of education across Oman which are
attributable to gender variable. . For the variable of the academic qualification, there are statistically significant variances in the dimensions of flexibility, originality and sensitivity to problems in respect of the holders of bachelor's degree. For the variable of years of experience, there are statistically significant variances in all dimensions of the measure of creative administrative behavior for those who have more than 10 years of experience. The results also show a positive correlation relation and a statistic function at the significance level of (a00.01) between the dimensions of the organizational trust and the creative administrative behavior of the employees of the directorates general of education in Oman.
In light of the findings of the study, a number of recommendations were made, including: Enhancing the organizational trust atmosphere in the directorates general of education by identifying the determinants of organizational trust and the factors that reinforce it and adopting the means to develop the same, The directorates general of education and the education departments should develop an open communication system between the members of the senior management and the departments and divisions affiliated thereto in order to raise the level of organizational trust.
The researcher also recommends providing financial rewarding incentives in recognition of good employees at the level of directorates general, especially those who innovate creative ideas to enhance the performance of staff.
