This study aimed to identify the characteristics of Editorial and Op-Ed pages in The Omani Arabic Dailies in 2014. The study focused on "Oman", "Al Watan" and " Al Shabiba" newspapers during the period of (1st of January – 31th of March, 2014. This study was a descriptive study, where it used content analysis, to describe and analyze the characteristics of Editorial and Op-Ed pages and the content of articles. It also used open interviews with an available sample of Editors of these newspapers to explain some results, The study found that most articles in the sample were analytical articles and the editorial articles were the least, while critical articles were absent from all three newspapers. Furthermore, The Study revealed that political issues dominated the editorial and OP-Ed pages in the Omani Newspapers, especially those dealing with Arab World issues and events. The Omani Newspapers Depended heavily on freelance writers most of them were Arab writers who dominated wide areas in the editorial and OP-ED Pages, except "Al Shabibah newspaper", which outweighed the foreign writer. All articles in opinion pages of all samples provided more than one function. In addition, the study concluded that the contents of opinion pages are objective, balanced and seriousness as well as diversity in the usage of evidences.
