There is a lack of available information about elite athletes health behaviors in Oman. The current study aimed to find out health behaviors among elite athletes in Oman and the differences in practicing such behaviors according to variables of (gender, region, education, sport type). Furthermore, the study focused on the relative importance of health-related information resources. For the purpose of this study, descriptive methodology was used and a questionnaire of (44) statements on the fields: (personal health, nutrition, training and sport injuries) has been distributed. The questionnaire was applied to a sample of (349) senior athletes (male/female) who are affiliated to national teams of (24) different sports. After completion of data collecting, the collected data has been analyzed by (SPSS) for analyzing and extracting results using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way analysis of variance test (ANOVA), and less significant difference test (LSD(. This was the first study to investigate the elite athletes health behaviors in Oman. The study explored that the participants are following high standard of healthy behavior such as avoiding the usage of alcohol and tobacco products, and caring to have breakfast meal. It also showed that the participants scored an average standard behavior regarding early sleeping and having supplements. Furthermore, the current study revealed that there were statistically significant differences between males and females, in favor of males, healthy daily sleeping hours and in having meals in a timely manner.
