The study was conducted in order to find out the extent to which the students in the post basic education in the Sultanate of Oman are abide by the morals of the real student from the Islamic Studies teachers' point of view. Based on the variability of both the gender and the years of experiences, the sample of the study consists of 196 male and female teachers. Those teachers are teaching in grade 11 as well as grade 12 in different regions( Muscat, Sharqiya North, and Batina North) in the Sultanate of Oman during the academic year 2010/2011.To fulfill the aims of this study the researcher has designed a questionnaire which consists of 67 items. The questionnaire was piloted to make sure that it is accurate and lead to addressing the research. For the data analysis, the mean, trends, and T.test were used. . The study has shown the following findings: - The post basic students abide by an average level by the morals of the real student from their teachers' point of view. There are some statistic differences at the function levell a=0,05) according to the Islamic Studies teachers' perspectives as to what extent the students abide by the morals of an ideal student. These differences are due to the gender variables which show that females are better. The extent of the morals of an ideal student that students adhere to both in school and while studying in classes also differ at the function level ( a=0,05) due to the years of experience variable. There is an evidence that it is in favor of the teachers who have less years of experience. On the other hand, there is no differences in the other axes and in the study as a whole. Based on the findings of the study, the researcher has recommended that the Islamic Studies curriculum should be reinforced in terms of all its elements so that it will make the students aware of the morality of a good student, also there should be a moral curriculum for the learners to guide them towards the best way when they deal with others in their schools. The study also recommends the necessity of following the teachers' performance so that they are a good model for their students
