This study aimed to identify Theoretical principles and criteria to develop the career path of teachers and to analyze the experiences selected countries: The Arab Republic of Egypt, The Republic of Singapore and the Hashimite Kingdom of Jordan. The study also intended to analyze the reality of develop of teacher's career path in the Sultante of Oman. This study used the compartive approach to prepare a proposal model to develop the career path of teachers in Oman. The proposal included the following dimentions: Why do we need to develop teachers' career path in the Sultanate of Oman and how to achieve this develop process through the availability of its dimensions. The study also proposed practical measures such as: functional ranks of teachers, job description, To make sure that this proposed model with the Omani context it was evaluated by a group of (37) specialists:academics specialist in educational management, educational experts, some specialized staff who work in the Ministry of Education in Oman. The study reached to put conceive proposal for the classification of career path for teachers in the Sultanate of Oman to six paths: assistant teacher, and a teacher, and senior teacher, and supervisor teacher, and expert teacher, and counsellor teacher, like the model (Z) and based on the various professional development programs, and conditions of the transition from career path to career.
