This study aimed at determining the level of the Occupational Commitment of basic schools teacher's (grades 5-10) in the Sultanate of Oman and its relationship to the organizational justice as practiced by high and middle administrators at the Ministry of Education and at the Educational Governances It also determines whether there are significant statistical differences in the level of the teacher occupational commitment and the degree of the perception of the practiced organizational justice of the authorized people according to gender and years of experience.
To achieve the objectives of the study, an extensive literature review wa conducted. A questionnaire of (35) statements covering aspects of both Occupational Commitment and Organizational Justice was designed, an distributes to randomly selected study sample consisted of (360) male an female teachers in five educational regions in the Sultanate of Oman. They wei --- Muscat, -Batinah North, Dhukiliah, Sharqia South, and Dhofar. Collected was analyzed using SPSS package; the study highlighted the following results:
-The estimates of the study. sample in the level of the Occupation Commitment was middle, where as the estimates in the level of t' organizational justice which was practiced. by, high and mido administration was low.
-There is a positive relationship of statistical significance between Occupational Commitment, and the levels of the Organizational Justice practiced by the authorized people.
-There were significant statistical differences between the two levels of the Occupational commitment (ethical and psychological) and the total mark of the Occupational commitment which is attributed to the change of gander and for female. However, no statistical differences in the level of the continuous commitment attributed to sex were found, and there were no statistical differences in the Occupational Commitment and the three dimensions attributed to the years of experience.
-There were statistical differences in the perception of the study sample towards Organizational Justice attributed to gander where, as there were no statistical differences attributed to years of experience.
Based on the literature and the results of survey, the researcher suggested the following recommendations:
-Emphasis the awareness and the importance of occupational commitment and conduct more training programs.on" Organizational Commitment, and encourage teachers to be committed to their work.
-Develop laws and regulations to enable the male and female teachers to participate in the decision making process related to their work. In addition, compensate teachers based on their performance and workload.
-Conducting regular meetings and workshops with the decision makers an teachers so that teachers' needs can be met.
The study concluded a number of research suggestions.
