الملخص الإنجليزي
The quasi-experimental method was adopted by choosing two experimental and control groups. There were (29) girls in the experimental group and (27) girls in the control group. A pre and post implementation, "General Self-Efficacy scale" & "Academic Self-Efficacy scale" were applied in two groups. The Cronbach's alpha score of General Self-Efficacy scale was (0.85), and the Cronbach's alpha score of Academic Self-Efficacy scale was (0.84).
The results of the study showed differences with statistical significance (< 0.05) in the participants' means between the experimental group and the control group in the post implementation of the General Self-Efficacy scale, in favor of the experimental group with a high effect size. The results also showed that there are statistically significant differences (< 0.05) in the mean scores of the experimental group between the pre and post implementation of the General Self-Efficacy scale, in favor of the post implementation.
While in the post implementation of the Academic Self-Efficacy scale, there were no statistical significant differences (< 0.05) between the average response of the experimental group and the control group. In addition, the results showed that there are no statistically significant differences (< 0.05) in the mean score of the experimental group between the pre and post implementations of the Academic Self-Efficacy scale, but the size effect as medial. Hence, the results pinpointed the effect of the training program in improving students' academic self-efficacy. A number of recommendations and suggestions have been made.
