The goal of the study is to establish sections for the management of the social risks in the various Social Development Departments in the Governorate of Muscat in order to tackle risks face by the beneficiaries of social security system and to explore these risks in the future. This study is one of the descriptive studies dealing with the Social, economic and health risks, which face the beneficiaries from their point of views and the employees of the social security services. The study aimed at coming out with a number of proposals to activate risks management to reduce their effects to the society. The study used the descriptive and analytical research method on a minority of the beneficiaries and their total number is 210. Besides that, it used a comprehensive social survey method for 24 staff working at the services of the social security departments. The data collected through questionnaires and direct interviews with the employees of the social security. The filed study started from the end of December 2020 to mid- March 2021, and came up with a number of outcomes among them the following important results:
- The results of the study inducted that most of the individuals agree on the rise of food commodities, and they considered the rise of the commodities is one of the economic risks facing them with relative strength 92%.
- The risk of high children's expenses is other dangerous economic risks facing them with a relative strength of 73%.
The study made several of proposals enhancing the implementation of the social risks management to settle the risks face the beneficiaries of the social security system
