The present study aimed to study the relationship of cognitive distortions to both electronic test anxiety and perceived self-efficacy beliefs among university students in the Sultanate of Oman. Sample consisted of (320) students from higher education institutions in the Sultanate of Oman during the fall semester of the academic year (2020/2021), the relational descriptive approach are used, the researcher used the cognitive distortions of Eladl (2015), Abu Sheikh electronic test anxiety scale (2018), and the perceived self-efficacy belief scale of Ghannamah and Nasraween (2020). The validity and reliability of the scales were verified on the Omani environment. The results showed an average level of both cognitive distortions and electronic test anxiety, high level of perceived self-efficacy beliefs, a positive statistically significant correlation between cognitive distortions and electronic test anxiety, there was no significant relationship between cognitive distortions and their perceived self-efficacy beliefs, there are significant differences in the distortions and electronic test anxiety between males and females in favor of males, while there are no statistically significant differences of self-efficacy beliefs, and there were no statistically significant differences in the cognitive distortions, electronic test anxiety, and perceived self-efficacy beliefs attributable According to the type of colleges variable .
