This study aims to reveal the semantics in the book Jawaher Al Tafseer of Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad al-Khalili. Semantics means wide concept which takes care of the individual words and the context from all angles of vocal, morphological, lexical and syntactic structure, also examines all the meanings and its symbolic implications derived from the fixed components of sound, formula, word and sentences.
The research concerned the semantic applications and the stylistic aesthetics of the single word and the contextual structure, by standing on the most important semantic issues used by the interpreter to understand Quranic texts, and then analyzing these issues by Criticism and making comments to end up with results showing the characteristics of the semantic analysis used by Shiekh Ahmed to take meanings from Quranic contexts.
His Eminence took care of the rhetorical methods and their semantic presentations. His scientific personality was prominent in directing, criticizing and applying these methods.
The study importance lies in searching for the extent to which his Eminence has benefited from modern and traditional linguistic interpretive approaches in the semantic analysis, and the extent to which the interrelationship between the linguistic and jurisprudence scholars is manifested in Jawaher al-Tafseer.
