This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of teaching with interactive board on the achievement of language patterns and its effects on grade four students learning. The researcher has chosen two schools from Batinah south government. The experimented school was Dhiaa ALElm (1-4) with 32 students (both genders). This group has been target the linguistic patterns by using the interactive board. Where's Alshirs school (1-4) was the control group with 30 students.
(both genders) and this group has been taught the linguistic patterns using the normal strategy.
The researcher used an achievement test to measure students understanding of linguistic patterns. In addition to that, researcher has prepared a guide of hoe to teach linguistic patterns for grade four (semester two) using active inspire program in interactive board. The test and the teaching guide were judged by a group of specialists to make sure of their reliability.
According to the internal consistency coefficient alpha for Cronbach's alfa" the reliability of the test was (0.80). After the experiment, the test was directly applied on both groups. After two weeks it was applied again. The study results indicated a statistically noticed difference between the mean scores of the experimental group in both tests (the immediate and the delayed on). The shown result w ere due to the use of interactive board. From this result the study recommended using the interactive board in teaching Linguistic patterns in cycle one provide the interactive boards for schools.
