The current study aimed to identify the The authentic leadership of the basic education schools principals and its relationship to the organizational loyalty of teachers in the Governorate of Al-Dakhiliya, Sultanate of Oman. The study followed the descriptive correlative method, and the questionnaire was used to collect data and information, and it was applied to a sample of (286) male and female teachers.
The study reached several results, the most important of which are: The degree to which principals of basic education schools in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman practiced dimensions of authentic leadership was generally high, It also came high in all dimensions, namely Self-awareness, ethical perspective, balanced treatment and transparency of relationships, and the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≤0.05) between the average estimates of the study sample of teachers for the degree of principals' practice of basic education schools. In Al Dakhiliyah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman, for authentic leadership is attributed to the variables of gender, and there are differences for the variable years of experience in favor of a sample of 10 years or more, academic qualification in favor of a sample of masters degree holders and above, and job title and in favor of a sample of top teachers.
The results also found that the level of organizational loyalty among teachers of basic education schools in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman was generally high, It also came high in all dimensions, namely: Faith in work , ready to work and pride in work, and the results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≤0.05) in the responses of the study sample of teachers to the level of their organizational loyalty in schools. Basic education in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman is attributed to the variables of years of experience and academic qualification, while these differences were found in the variables of gender, in favor of the female sample, job title, and in favor of the sample of the first teachers; In addition to the above, the results of the study revealed the existence of a positive and statistically significant correlation at the level (0.01) between all dimensions of the authentic leadership of school principals and the dimensions of the level of organizational loyalty of teachers in basic education schools in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman..
In light of the results of the study, Increasing the interest of the higher administrations responsible for training and professional development programs, whether at the level of the Ministry of Education represented by the Specialized Center for Vocational Training of Teachers, or its educational directorates, that the authentic leadership of school principals and the organizational loyalty of teachers are among the main topics in these programs, and granting school principals The necessary powers and authorities that enable them to root the authentic leadership system in their schools and enable them to build a climate of trust between them and the workers to achieve their organizational loyalty.
