The study aimed to identify the relationship between the habits of the mind and the ability to make decisions and self-efficacy among a sample of ninth and tenth grade students in the Al Dhahirah Governorate. The sample of the study consisted of (416) students, and to achieve the objectives of the study the relational descriptive approach was used. The results of the study showed that, the habit of perseverance came first as the most habits of mind used by the study sample and the habit of thinking beyond the cognitive came as the last habit of the mind used. As the study showed that, the level of decision-making ability and self-efficacy was high among the study sample, and there was a correlation relationship.
The study sample showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the habits of the mind due to the gender variable, and that there are differences attributed to the class variable. The study also showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the ability to take the decision is attributed to the gender and class variable, as well as there are no statistically significant Differences in self-efficacy attributable to the gender and grade variable.
