This study aims at analyzing the language of modern Omani poetry at the following two levels : lexical and structural and reporting the use of some linguistic phenomena in the modern Omani poetry. The study population (sample) consisted of some Omani poets. The study was divided in to three parts: the first part dealt with lexical words construction in the light of semantic fields (Semantics). It also included the existence and relationship of some semantic fields in the fields: Nature, time, musical instruments, politics, clothe, weights (scales), industry, and ornament related semantics.
The second part dealt only with sentence structure in the modern Omani poetry in the terms of negative and positive nominal and verbal sentences. It has also shed some light on some linguistic patterns used by poets.
The third part dealt with style structure in the modern Omani poetry and reporting the most common styles used by poets.
The study concluded with some results reported in the conclusion section.
