This thesis has addressed the issues related to the employees legal liability when a misuse of authority had been practiced by them in the Omani penal code, the researcher discussed the general employee related provisions in the initial research in both Omani civil and military penal codes. The definition of employee along with the related provisions have been addressed. The study also included provisions related to subjectivity and procedural rules in the penal code and the criminal procedure law and the military justice law.
In the first chapter the researcher has addressed the crimes of the misuse of authority or the breaches related to the job related duties that are included in the penal code and the codes which are equal in the military justice law.
The second chapter highlighted the conditions in which the employee's legal liability can be dropped, along with studying a practical side of the use of authority to justify actions, the chapter was concluded with results and recommendations.
The study relied on the narrative analysis of the legal subjects texts in order to reach the Omani lawgiver intents along with touching on some of the Arabian
