The study aimed to find out the level of functional alienation and its relationship to the organizational effectiveness of schools in the Governorate of Al Dakhliya in the Sultanate of Oman, as the study used the correlational descriptive approach, and the study sample consisted of (TV1) male and female administrative and teachers who were chosen randomly, to achieve the objectives of the study. The questionnaire was used to collect data and information.
Among the most prominent results of the study is that the level of functional alienation came at a medium level, as it came at a low level in the axis (social isolation and self-estrangement), and a medium level in the axis (disability, loss of meaning, and lack of standards), and the presence of statistically significant differences between the estimates of the study sample In only four axes, the gender variable (disability, loss of meaning, lack
of standards, and self-estrangement) is attributed in favor of the male sample, and there are no statistically significant differences among the study sample estimates of the level of functional alienation of the job title variable in all axes, The presence of statistically significant differences among the estimates of the study sample only in the axis of social isolation of the variable years of experience, in favor of the sample of those with experience from one to ten years, the absence of statistically significant differences among the estimates of the study sample attributable to the scientific qualification in all the axes of the study tool, and the level of organizational effectiveness came High in all its axes.
The results showed an inverse correlation between job alienation and organizational effectiveness at a low degree, and one of the most important recommendations of the study is to work to provide a favorable environment to reduce the level of functional alienation, and to provide more opportunity for educational staff to participate in expressing opinions, and to work on reaching the educational employee to job satisfaction.
