This research aims to study the narrator in the Omani novel. It is an
applied Study on three modern Omani novels: The Journey of Abizaid Al-Omani, by Mohammed Bin Saif Al-Rahbi, Stinging, by Husain Al- Abri, and Bridges Whispering, by Ali Al- Mamari. These novels were chosen for a technical reason; as I made multiplying narrators to more than one in each novel a condition and requirement for this study. I found
other novels, not included in this study, adopted multiple narrators as a
technique, so I had to control the research to come up with systematic and clear results. I was able to make multiple narrators through a combined and comprehensive account, and I found the three novels similar to a very a large extent.
The account in these three novels is historical and realistic, as the novel
begins through contact with reality and history of Oman. But this contact is not by copying and pasting what exists in reality and history, but rather by narrating through a creative vision. openness in the methodology to come up with more precise results.
However, I do not deny that I have benefited from structuralism and linguistics, depending on what has been written about the narrator, both in Western and Arabic criticism.
