This study aimed to detection of behavioral practices that reflects about human relationships and their relation to occupational performance, from the viewpoint of administrators and academic administrators at the University of Nizwa in the Sultanate of Oman.
To achieve the objective of the study and answer questions, the researcher developed a questionnaire included (51) paragraphs on four areas: first area: the reality of human relations between administrators and academic administrators at the University of Nizwa. The second area: the reality of the occupational performance between administrators and academic administrators at the University of Nizwa. The third area: the obstacles that prevent the dissemination of human relations between administrators and academic administrators at the University of Nizwa. The fourth area: proposals for improving the reality of human relations and occupational performance.
The truth and stability of the tool have been verified (a coefficient Alpha-0,85) and the questionnaire was applied to samples of the study from the University of Nizwa and their number was (117) individual.
The researcher used descriptive statistics to analyze the results of the study by extracting the Arithmetic averages, standard deviations and analysis of variance single (One Way Anova). She also used (t - test), and Scheffe Post Hoc Test.
The study included the following results:
1. The rise of human relations reality at the University of Nizwa from the viewpoint of administrators and academic administrators by arithmetic average about (3,64).
2. The rise of occupational performance reality at the University of Nizwa from the viewpoint of administrators and academic administrators by arithmetic average about (4,71).
3. Few obstacles that could prevent the spread of human relations from the viewpoint of administrative and academic administrators working at the University of Nizwa by arithmetic average about (1,89).
4. There is a positive relationship between human relations and occupational performance from the viewpoint of administrators and academic administrators working at the University of Nizwa, the more human relations; it has led to an increase in occupational performance.
One of the most important recommendation that were recommended by the studies is the necessity of adopting a strong strategy that would stop the confrontation of the employees of the university with work problems which would support their performance, and the other one is working on activating various unique ways to evaluate the performance of work and giving a chance for the employees to participate in evaluating themselves and review their performance reports.
