Gulf Cooperation Council is a regional organization made up of the Arab countries bordering the
Arabian Gulf, and it aimed to reach unity and achieve interdependence and integration between
those countries in different fields and at political and popular levels. This work aims to identify
the importance of the integration among the GCC states and explore a new model for integration
that serves the interests of all Gulf states without intervening in their foreign policy. Moreover,
this work aims to determine the essential features of the potential integration between the GCC
states. Also, it tries to explore the advantages of the unity among the GCC states to act as a
powerful bloc to challenge international and regional threats. This thesis ends with the fact that
GCC states have enough shared qualities and common denominators to bring them together. If
these qualities are utilized well, the GCC will reach full integration. This thesis used a qualitative
method based on interviews. This thesis concludes that forming a union in a world where there is
no place for small entities is reasonably necessary. Also, the gains from a union are more than
expected, and policymakers should move toward the union. This union will guarantee a better
future for the GCC countries by integrating the people based on their Khaleeji identity.
Confederation is the best system for integrations in the Gulf Union which maintains the
sovereignty of its members and guarantees a union with its advantage.
