This research is entitled "the Names of Cities and Places in A'Dahera Region".
It contains 296 places and villages from three welayats of A'dahera (Ibri- Dhank-Yanqul).This research has an introduction, a warm up, a plot of three sections and a conclusion.
In the introduction I talk about the reasons of selecting this topic, the review of literature and the difficulties I faced. In the warm up I introduce a historical view of A'Dahera region, the place geography and I ended with some statistics.
The sections of the study were as follow:
Section one: general descriptive study of the phenomenon of naming cities and places. In this section I talk about the cities and places that have different connotations.
Section two: the phonetic study of the places names like
"assimilative names, the mixing between some letter sounds and the misuse of some letters.
In the second part of this section, I talk about grammatical study and the cities and places names: in this section I talk about the cities and places that are in grammatical corms like verbs and "nouns-infinite nouns, object nouns, exaggeration forms, and time and place phrases". The last section: connotation study for the cities and places, in which I highlighted the exact meaning of some names, those names with no meanings and those with typical meanings. At the end I concluded with the most important results I have encountered in my research and the references I used.
