The study aimed to identify the level of the need of the workers in the Education Planning section of the Directorates of Education to develop their sufficiency's. The study tried to realize its aim answering the
following questions:
What is the required sufficiencies for the workers in the Education Planning sections of the Directorates General of Education in
Sultanate of Oman? Is there differences of significance statistical at the level of significance (a=0.05) among the arithmetic average of the level of the need of the workers in the Education Planning section of the Directorate of Education in Sultanate of Oman to develop their required sufficiencies which attribute to variables of Sex, Academic qualification, Job Function, work experience in the field of Planning.
To realize the aim of the study and answering its questions the
researcher developed a questionnaire formed of five sections and 51 items include: Planning, Budgeting, making Schooling formations, implementing the plan, the evolution and the evaluations.
After verifying the questionnaire's consistency it has been distributed among the study samples which included 73 head o sections and members of Education planning of the planning sections of the Directorate General of Education in Sultanate of Oman.
The researcher used the descriptive statistics in analyzing the results of
the study. He got the mathematical averages and the standard deviations
for each item. He uses the T-Test for two independent test and analyzing the differences.
The important conclusions:
The level of the workers in the Education Planning sections of the -
Directorate General of Education in Sultanate of Oman to develop
their required sufficiencies was large, the mathematical average of
the individual of the sample for the Item of Performance was 3.88.
No difference of statistical significance at the level of significance -
(a=0.05) ascribed to the variable of Sex.
No difference of statistical significance at the level of significance -
(a=0.05) ascribed to the variable of Academic Qualification.
No difference of statistical significance at the level of significance -
(a=0.05) ascribed to the variable of Job Function.
No difference of statistical significance at the level of significance (a=0.05) -
ascribed to the variable of Working Experience in the field of Planning.
