The objective of this study is to develop the human resource information systems in the general directorates of education in the Sultanate of Oman, through the study of the reality of these systems in the general directorates of education. The population of the study was (155) employees. The study sample was (95) employees and it was represented in (8) directorates. .A Questionnaire was made that consisted of (5) dimensions. They are The first dimension is: the environment of the human resource information system and dealing with it". The second dimension is: the sufficiency of the workers in the human resource information systems". The third dimension is: the suitability of the equipment, the facilities of the human resource information system". The fourth dimension is: "dealing with the data of the human resources information system". The fifth dimension is: "the output of the human resource information systems then presenting the performance among specialized arbitrator in the field of information systems and educational management.
To measure the credibility of the performance, to measure the fixation then distributing the questionnaire among the sample of (30) employees on terms that the the fixation factor is (0.94) this value is high and acceptable, after applying questionnaire among the real sample of the study. The researcher calculated the arithmetical means and the standardized deviations for each dimension of the study dimensions. In the light of analyzing the results of the previous five dimensions so the most important results were as follows:
1- That the system has not enough analytical or statistical or logical models. 2- That there is shortage in training the employees in the human resource systems for the training on the skills of using the system. information
3- There is no private systems to store the electrical energy for the systems of the human resource information system in case of interruptions the in electric current,
In the light of these results the researcher set the following important results:
1- Updating the recent program by another developed program that has the validity which the employees need for the human resource information systems.
2- Holding intensive training courses for all the employees in the human resource information system, increasing their computer skills, also in the field of the human resource information systems.
3- Providing private systems to store the electricity for the devices of the human resource information systems in the directorates in case of the interruption of the electrical current.
