This study discusses the topic of the responsibility of the international aviation carrier in
the contract of passengers' transport according to the international conventions and the Omani
law (comparative study), and it also discovers the compatibility of the legal rules presented in
the Omani laws and the international conventions. The study discussed the topic in three
chapters. The first chapter has introduced the definition of the international aviation carrier of
passengers' transport, its distinguished features, and the commitments of each one of the
contractors. The second chapter focused on the legal framework of the international aviation
carrier responsibility in the contract of passengers' transport and examples of its
responsibilities related to passengers' safety and transport delay issues. This chapter also
focused on comparing these responsibilities according to the international rules and the Omani
laws. The third chapter; however, discovered the results of implementing the legal
responsibility of the international aviation carrier in the contract of passengers' transport
researching in the penalties for non-compliance with this responsibility ( financial and moral
compensation), clarifying the responsibility allegation, its parties, and its impacts. Finally, the
study was concluded with the findings and some recommendations.
