This study aims to identify the organizational ingenuity of school principals of grades (10-12) and its relationship to the organizational adaptation of teachers in the Governorate of North Al Sharqiyah in the Sultanate of Oman. To achieve the goals of this study, the Descriptive and Correlative Method is applied. Additionally, a questionnaire method is applied to collect data and information. First, these data and elements of the questionnaire are approved to be valid and reliable. Second, the questionnaire is applied to a sample of (130) (male and female) teachers in schools for grades (10-12) in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman.
Accordingly, the study shows that the level of organizational proficiency among school principals in grades (10-12) in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman is generally large in all aspects. Also, it shows that there are no statistically significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) for the degree of organizational ingenuity of school principals of grades (10-12) in the Governorate of the North of AL Sharqiyah in Sultanate of Oman because of the variables (Specialization and years of Experience) except the Gender variable. Moreover, the results of the study reveal that there are statistically significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) due to the gender variable, and in all aspects of organizational ingenuity in favor of males.
The results of the study also show that the level of organizational adaptation among teachers in schools of grades from (10-12) in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman is very high in general, and it is also at a very high level in all elements. Also, the study reveals that there are no statistically significant differences
at the level of (α ≤ 0.05) for the adaptation level for the (male and female) teachers of grades (10-12) in AL Sharqiyah North Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman based on the variables (Specialization and years of Experience), except the gender variable. The study shows that there are statistically significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05), and in all aspects of organizational adjustment in favor of males.
The results of the study also reveals that there is a positive correlation and a statistical function at the level (α ≤ 0.05) between the aspects of the level of application of organizational ingenuity of school principals, and the aspects of the level of organizational adaptation of teachers in the Governorate of North Al Sharqiyah in the Sultanate of Oman, where the strength of the relationship reaches a medium degree.
Based on the results of the study, a set of recommendations are presented, the most important of which are: to find a system of incentives for school principals who pay great attention to the practice of organizational ingenuity. To adopt the topic of organizational ingenuity within the system of measuring individual performance and institutional excellence, as one of the indicators that can be relied upon in measuring the degree of creativity and administrative quality in educational institutions in general and in measuring the performance of school principals in particular. Working on spreading the culture of applying organizational ingenuity by the Ministry of Education among school principals, especially female schools, and developing awareness of the ways and methods of their practices. Investing the results of the high level of applying organizational ingenuity for school principals in North Al Sharqiyah in order to create competition among them and continue developing their performance at work. Expedite the development of an organizational ingenuity program for teachers and circulate it to all directorates of the Ministry of Education and other ministries, taking into account the psychological aspects of the teacher when applying school laws and regulations in order to adapt to the policies in a better way.
