Palmoplantar psoriasis is a condition characterised by chronic inflammatory skin disease. Smoking has been observed to be a trigger in the development of this form of psoriasis. The writer presented a case of 51 years old male farmer suffering of palmoplantar psoriasis since the age of 34 with periods of remission and aggravation with history of heavy smoking. Improved understanding of the possible link between smoking and palmoplantar psoriasis may provide better insight on this condition michanisms.
