Tranquility, inner peace and comfort in living have become the
constitutional rights of the citizen in the Sultanate of Oman, especially
when the Basic Law of the State No. 2021/6 referred to them in more than
one place. The right to reassurance, as one of the human rights, permeates
several other rights that are considered as its foundations, especially the
right to individual security, the right to privacy and other important rights
that guarantee the reassurance of the individual within the community.
The fact that the right to reassurance is a constitutional right has
consequences for the three state authorities, as the legislative authority
undertakes to conform to the laws associated with it. to control it directly.
