No one denies that human society is witnessing an information revolution under the policies of globalization. In addition to this information revolution, a biological revolution has also brought about radical and dangerous changes throughout the world and its effects have been reflected in all aspects of life, including the field of combating criminal crimes. Genetic engineering is an inseparable part of the modern biological revolution that the criminal field has been able to benefit from through the discovery of DNA through DNA analysis. This dramatic discovery has changed the course of the judicial system in various countries of the world. DNA is therefore the most modern scientific technology in the world to detect crimes that could not have been achieved without the use of modern scientific technology. This discovery is one of the most modern scientific methods of detecting the perpetrators through their genetic characteristics, identifying the culprit by analyzing the DNA of the sample found at the crime scene, and comparing it with the specimen taken from the suspect's body or stored in the data bank. It should be noted that fingerprints have long been at the forefront of identifying the perpetrators in view of the characteristics that characterize them, which is particularly important, but it has proved to be ineffective in some cases with professional offenders who blur their fingerprints and erase them or resort to wearing gloves so that they leave no trace of them. Hence, efforts to overcome this problem must have continued. The birth of modern technology, known as DNA, opened wide horizons in the field of forensic evidence and the identification of perpetrators, which made it superior to regular fingerprints, combating criminal crime; it is hoped that it will play a promising role in proving many of the serious crimes that plague the competent criminal investigation services.
