This study aimed at proposing a training program to develop the skills of employing some applications of educational technology in teaching for teachers of the second field in South Sharqia Governorate in Their training needs in the Sultanate of Oman for the year 2021 / 2020 and its relationship to the two variables (training experience - number of years of experience). The study sample consisted of (163) second field teachers from the first cycle schools affiliated to the General Directorate of Education in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate. To achieve the objectives of the study, a two-axis questionnaire was designed, where the first axis consists of (23) the teacher’s knowledge of educational technology applications in teaching, and the second axis includes educational technology applications that have priority for the teacher to be included in a training program.
The results showed that the teachers of the second field have a positive knowledge of a medium degree about the skill of employing some applications of educational technology in the schools of the first cycle. The results also showed statistically significant differences due to the variable of training experience in favor of attending a training course, while the results did not show statistically significant differences due to the variable number of years of experience.
A proposed training program has also been built that includes the following applications:(Adobe Animate- Kinemaster - Hp Reveal -QR Code - Chatterkid-Class Dojo) to design interactive educational content.
