The current study aimed to identify the level of quality of training programs provided to physical education teachers in the North Al Batinah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman from the perspectives of teachers and supervisors, and to know the significance of the differences in the quality level of the training programs provided to school sports teachers in the North Al Batinah Governorate due to the variable (gender) , (years of experience), and (job title). The study adopted the descriptive approach to achieve its objectives. The study sample consisted of (200) male and female teachers and (13) male and female supervisors distributed among the schools of the North Al Batinah Governorate. They were selected by random probability assignment using the cluster technique. The researcher designed a questionnaire consisting of (29) items distributed over (4) axes, namely identifying training needs, designing training programs, implementing training, and evaluating. The face validity of the questionnaire was measured through item validity and assignment validity, and its internal consistency reliability coefficient was measured by Cronbach’s alpha equation. The results showed that the quality level of the training programs provided to physical education teachers in North Al Batinah Governorate was at an arithmetic average of (3.21) and an average level. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences attributed to the gender variable, no statistically significant differences attributed to the years of experience variable, and no statistically significant differences attributed to the job title variable. The study recommended improving the training programs provided to teachers of physical education by benefiting from the results of the study and identifying the training needs of teachers, following up the impact of the training programs on the teacher level and the academic achievement level of students, and developing the skills of those responsible for implementing the training programs to raise their efficiency.
