This study aimed to identify the role of entrepreneurship in improving the performance of workers in the craft industries sector in the Sultanate of Oman, by applying it to the North Sharqiyah Governorate. In North Sharqia Governorate, in the three centres, the study sample consisted of (205) male and female graduates.
The results showed a high degree of practicing the dimensions of entrepreneurship among workers in the craft industries sector in the Sultanate of Oman, where the total sum of the dimensions of this field reached (4.1759), and the degree of approval for the rest of the dimensions ranged between high and very high, and it came in the first place after empowerment, with an arithmetic average of (4.3561), while creativity and innovation ranked second, with an average of (4.2488), and in the third place came after the initiative, with an average of (4,1063), and in the fourth and last place came after attracting opportunities with an average of (3.9922), as it showed. The results: There is a high degree of agreement with the level of performance of workers in the craft industries sector in the Sultanate of Oman, where the total number of paragraphs in this field is (4.1467), which means that the study sample sees that the level of performance of workers in the craft industries sector is high, The degree of approval for the rest of the paragraphs of this axis ranged between high and very high, and the results indicated the existence of a positive (strong) positive relationship with statistical significance at the level of 0.01 between entrepreneurship and improving the performance of workers in the craft industries sector in the Sultanate of Oman, which means that achieving the dimensions of entrepreneurship - mentioned by the study - for workers in the craft industries sector in the Sultanate of Oman will improve their performance. The researcher discussed and interpreted the results in the light of the theoretical framework and the data of previous studies. Finally, the research included a number of recommendations, the most important of which are the necessity of linking the identification of training needs to the development of the performance of workers in the Omani craft industries sector, the implementation of programs concerned with empowering employees of training and rehabilitation programs, and the development of traditional Omani crafts.
