The research aims to identify the impact of participatory leadership on
organizational silence in the industrial companies in the Sultanate of Oman.
The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach, and the SPSS V.24
program and AMOS V.25 program were used in the path analysis. Among the
most important results reached: delegation of authority, human relations with
subordinates, participation of subordinates in leadership tasks, degree of
participatory leadership, and organizational silence in industrial companies in
the Sultanate of Oman were high, according to the general arithmetic mean of
the responses, and the existence of a statistically significant positive effect of
participatory leadership in its dimensions (delegation of authority and human
relations with subordinates and the participation of subordinates in leadership
tasks) on organizational silence behaviors in industrial companies in the
Sultanate of Oman. Among the recommendations of the study: work on
promoting and consolidating the concepts of participatory leadership in
companies, by enhancing teamwork and the participation of individuals in
management in a manner commensurate with their abilities and experience at
work. Companies should support their employees by listening to their problems
and suggestions, and enhance communication between individuals and share
their ideas and opinions with them.
