The study aimed to identify the relationship between ethical leadership and job performance، as well as to identify the extent to which leaders in the Ministry of Health apply the dimensions of ethical leadership ، and to indicate the impact of this on the job performance of employees ، and therefore the extent to which there is a statistically significant impact of ethical leadership on job performance in the Ministry of Health in the Sultanate of Oman. The current study has used the descriptive analytical approach as it fits with the nature of the study، and in order to achieve what the study aimed at، a questionnaire was built to collect study data as a means of obtaining information and data.
The study relied on the descriptive analytical method along with the field study method through the use of the questionnaire as the main tool to collect the basic data of the study ، where secondary information was collected from accredited Arab and foreign references ، and the primary data was collected from the researchers through a questionnaire prepared to cover all dimensions of this study was distributed to the study sample، which amounted to 400 individuals from various employees affiliated with the technical and administrative categories in the Ministry of Health in the Sultanate، 384 of them responded to the sample of the study، and those initial data were analyzed using the statistical package program for Social Sciences SPSS، and based on the random sampling method .
The study came to several conclusions starting fromthat the level of availability of ethical leadership among the employees of the Ministry of health of the Sultanate of Oman in relation to the study topics as a whole was within a high degree، as well as the statistically significant impact of the dimensions of ethical leadership (personal qualities، managerial qualities، human relationships) on job performance.
Based on the findings of the study ، it recommended the need to strengthen ethical leadership as it works to provide a positive organizational environment that would work to raise the efficiency of the job performance of MOH employees، through training leaders on ethical leadership skills، and the need for leaders in the Ministry of Health to accept positive criticism as it represents an effective tool to develop the job performance of MOH employees by raising their morale and motivating them financially and morally.
