This study aims to determine the level of leadership effectiveness and the level of
innovative behaviour practice of the administrative body at Sultan Qaboos University.
To achieve the study objectives and answer its questions, the researcher used the
descriptive analytical approach and applied the questionnaire as a main tool for data
collection. The study population consisted of the employees of the administrative body
at Sultan Qaboos University, and a simple random sample was used. A number of (357)
questionnaires were distributed to the study population, (325) of them retrieved with a
response rate of (91%). The researcher analysed the results through the statistical
analysis software (SPSS)
