The study aimed to identify the relationship between stratrgic planning in its dimensions (strategic vision, strategic message, strategic objectives, strategic analysis, strategies) and performance in the Holy Qur’an School in the Sultanate of Oman. Strategic Planning” is divided into 29 questions within the dimensions of strategic planning, and the second axis “ performance” includes 11 questions.
The study relied on the descriptive analysis method, and the study population was (1342) employees working in the Department of Holy Qur’an Schools in various administrative and field jobs in the Sultanate of Oman, and the sample size was (268), and questionnaires were distributed, and the number of questionnaires recovered was (238) Resolution. The researcher used the statistical program (SPSS) to analyze the data through a number of statistical methods.
The results of the study showed that there is a positive correlation between strategic planning and the performance of Holy Qur’an Schools Department, and that compliance with strategic planning has a significant impact on the performance of the institution. Once institutions comply with strategic plans, there will be better performance.
The study recommended the necessity of strategic planning to achive the desired goals of profit and non-profit inistitutions, and the participation of individuals in strategic planning and giving them sufficient attention to raise efficiency and effectiveness in the organization
