Technical development has spread his shadows in all aspects of life, which made a lot of challenges in many areas including the legal field, and continuous practices of transactions over a certain period have established traditional patterns reflected in laws, However, the emergence of new and unusual patterns has set global trends, which we must study To assess the effectiveness of current laws towards it. Artificial Intelligence and its results has become the center of attention for countries and institutions, and the electronic agent is one of its branches, the research problem is formed in evaluating the extent of the comprehensiveness of the legal rules to consider the smart agency in terms of formation, effect and responsibility. The researcher will rely on the descriptive approach to interpret the main provisions of the agency according to the laws adopted in the Sultanate of Oman, one of which is the Electronic Transactions Law issued by Royal Decree No. (69/2008), in addition to using the analytical approach to explain the electronic agent with artificial intelligence and its legal nature, since artificial intelligence is characterized by independence in clarifying recommendations, decisions and predictions. The researcher will use legislative tools and jurisprudential rules related to commercial businesses, in addition to specialized research and articles, to answer the main question of the research which is weather the electronic agent with artificial intelligence have a legal status compared to its traditional counterpart. In conclusion, in the end of the research we reached many results, the most important of which are the following: There is no agreed upon international direction regarding artificial intelligence other than that approved by the European Union in its regulatory regulations, taking into consideration the connection between the electronic agent and artificial intelligence which is also does not have a clear legal frame until now, despite the great efforts to spread and organize e-commerce and organizing its licensing mechanism, the study recommends the importance of adopting a positive stance towards regulating the electronic agent with artificial intelligence within a clear legal framework by the Sultanate of Oman, in accordance with the strategy of Oman Vision 2040, which is to build a diversified and sustainable economy based on technology.
