The research aimed to identify the level of quality in all sports clubs’ services in Oman. This study also seeks to determine the differences in point of view among the study samples on measuring the quality of sports' clubs’ performance according to the variables (connection to the club and age). To achieve these goals, the researcher followed in their procedures descriptive approach because of its consistency and the nature of the topic relying on the questionnaire as a main tool for data collection which 409 recipients took part.
The study concluded a set of results. The most critical finding is that sports’ clubs in Oman are characterized by good appearance and elegance. That is because the employee appearance reflects on the reputation and preserves the image of sports clubs. Recipients’ responses varied widely about the ability of employees in sports clubs in Oman to provide sufficient and appropriate information to the users of these services. This is due to the lack of experience and efficiency employees have in these sports clubs. However, there is no mechanism in sports clubs in Oman to monitor and evaluate the services provided to the users. Implementing good mechanisms requires planning according to certain principles and standards. Moreover, responses also varied regarding the provision of sports clubs in Oman with sufficient guarantees and facilities to meet the needs of the users of the services provided, owing in part to the financial and material challenges facing some clubs. In addition to that, clubs lack the imperfection of creativity and innovation in innovative programs. The study also finds that workers in sports clubs in Oman tend to be characterized by good manners and respect as a result of the employees’ adherence to their high customs and ethics that contribute to providing the best working environment of cooperation and respect which will attract customers to benefit from the services provided.
Lastly, the study concluded with a number of recommendations including the need to provide modern equipment for training in clubs and train trainers on how to use them. This can be done through contracting with some local companies to provide the devices for the provision of advertising and marketing services to them. Also, paying attention to provide a clear mechanism to evaluate the services provided to the users. It should be electronic and linked with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth and decision-makers in the clubs so that the programs are modified or implemented in a way that suits the aspirations of the target groups. In addition to that, it is necessary to activate a list of regulations in all clubs that shows the rights and duties of the users in order to increase trust between them and the users of the services.
