The study aimed to evaluate the program of first teachers at the specialized Institute
for professional training of teachers in the Sultanate of Oman according to the
Kirkpatrick model in the level of (reactions, learning, behavior (application), final
results), and to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher relied on the
descriptive curriculum, and A questionnaire was also built to evaluate the first
Teachers program at the specialized Institute for professional training of teachers in
the Sultanate of Oman according to the Kirkpatrick model, consisting of (38)
paragraphs and the sample of the study amounted to (310) first teachers who
completed the program of first teachers during the period of (2016 – 2023), The
results showed a very high level for all levels of the Kirkpatrick model (reactions,
learning, behavior (application), final results). the results also showed that there were
differences in the opinions of participants in a program attributed to the gender
variable, and there were no significant differences in the questionnaire dimension
attributed to the specialization variable and years of service. the study recommended
to use the Kirkpatrick model in evaluating other programs at the specialized Institute
for vocational training in the Sultanate of Oman, and to use the questionnaire in
measuring another program.
