This study aimed to reveal the level of scientific culture in light of the technological revolution
for science teachers in the Sultanate of Oman. To achieve the objectives of the study, the
descriptive approach was adopted. And developed a test It measures the level of scientific
culture of science teachers, consisting of (30) questions. After verifying its validity through the
validity of the arbitrators and the validity of internal consistency by calculating the Pearson
correlation coefficient between the questions and the fields and measuring its reliability, and
finding the total reliability value of the tool equal to (0.97) it was applied to the random study
sample consisting of ( 265 ) male and female teachers from different schools for grades (5-8)
affiliated with the Al Dakhiliyah and North Al Sharqiyah Governorates in the Sultanate of
Oman.
Among the most prominent results reached by the study: The level of scientific culture in
light of the technological revolution for science teachers in the Sultanate of Oman is average.
The results also indicated that there are statistically significant differences in the level of
scientific culture in light of the technological revolution for science teachers in the Sultanate of
Oman at a significance level (α≤ 0.05) according to gender in favor of female teachers. The
results also indicated that there are no statistically significant differences in the level of scientific
culture in light of the technological revolution for science teachers in the Sultanate of Oman at a
significance level (α≤ 0.05) according to gender. Years of experience ,and the province. The
study recommended the necessity of training science teachers during their service and increasing
attention to topics that develop understanding of science .Emphasizing science teachers’
awareness of the concept of scientific culture and its skills and ensuring their use within the
classroom
