The study aimed to identify the impact of Social life quality on career excellence among Omani workers in private sector institutions in Al Batinah South Governorate, by assessing the level of Social life quality, detecting the level of career excellence, and identifying statistically significant differences between levels of social life quality and career excellence attributed to demographic variables such as gender, marital status, age, educational level, job title, years of experience, monthly income, and institution category. The study used a questionnaire tool to implement a survey methodology with a sample of 190 Omani workers and adopted the applicable statistical methods to analyze the obtained findings.
The results indicated that the level of social life quality among workers in private sector institutions in Al Batinah South Governorate is high, likewise, the level of career excellence among these workers. The results also reflected statistically significant differences between the levels of social life quality and career excellence in some demographic variables. Furthermore, the results showed a statistically significant correlational relationship between social life quality and career excellence. Based on the studied sample, the dimensions of social relationships and education rank among the most influential dimensions of career excellence.
The study proposed several suggestions, including, generalizing the "Ejada System" that governs government institutions in all private sector institutions and codifying it in a manner compatible with the private sector environment. Additionally, it suggested the establishment of a specific committee responsible for providing social rehabilitation for Omani workers whose social conditions demand it, through collaborative efforts between the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Social Development.
