The study aimed to know how the schools managers do their roles to build knowledge society in the schools of Sultanate of Oman. It suggested models to develop managers roles to do that to achieve
that, the study did random questionnaires on (175): (70) manager
and (87) manager assistant.
To analyze the study data, The arithmetic average, standard
deviations and tests have been done to know differences according
to Demographic variables.
The results were as follow:
1. In the sample view point, the managers role was medium in spreading, exchanging, getting, storing, sharing, producing and applying knowledge.
2. The results showed the absence of statistically significant differences at the level of (a ≥ 0,05) for managers and their assistants roles to build knowledge society due to gender, experience, qualifications.
3. There are Statistically significant differences at the level of (a ≥ 0,05) for managers and their assistants roles to build the knowledge society due to job.
4. The study aimed to design a suggested model based on the
survey to develop managers roles to build knowledge society in post Basic schools in Sultanate of Oman.
