The current study aims at identifying the level of psychological resilience and its
relationship to the ability to solve social problems among social workers in the governorates
of Muscat and South Al Batinah in the Sultanate of Oman according to the variables of
gender and academic qualification in the study sample, and to identify whether there is a
statistically significant relationship between psychological resilience and social skills among
social workers in the governorates of Muscat and South Al Batinah in the Sultanate of Oman.
The researcher relied on the descriptive correlative approach to achieve the study's
goals, and a questionnaire tool was used. The study sample consisted of (150) male and
female specialists from the two governorates.
The study's results indicated the following:
The level of psychological resilience and 1.problem-solving ability of social workers in
the governorates of Muscat and South Al Batinah in the Sultanate of Oman was at a high level. Also, There are no statistically significant differences in the level of (psychological resilience, social problem-solving skill) among social workers in the governorates of Muscat and South Al Batinah in the Sultanate of Oman regarsing gender and academic qualification, while there are differences that are attributed to the educational qualification variable, Added to that. There is a positive but weak direct relationship between psychological resilience and social skills among social workers.
