The study aimed to identify The Degree of the Practice of Educational Supervisors for leadership Patterns according to the Path-goal Theory and its Relationship to the Effectiveness of the Supervisor in Teachers' Professional Development in Al Dhahirah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman, and to identify the extent to which there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≥0.05) between the estimates of the members of the study sample due to For the variables (gender and years of experience).To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive, correlational approach was used, and a questionnaire was used to collect data and information consisting of (40) items. After extracting the implications of validity and reliability, it was applied to a random sample of (350) male and female teachers in the Al Dhahirah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman. The study has reached a set of results, the most important of which are: that the degree of educational supervisors’ practice of leadership styles according to path and goal theory was high.The study also concluded that there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05≥α) attributed to the gender variable in all types of the scale. The study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05≥α) attributed to the variables of years of experience in all types. The results of the study also showed that the degree of effectiveness of the educational supervisor in professional development in schools in Al-Dhahirah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman was high. The study also concluded that there was a positive, statistically significant correlation between the degree of educational supervisors’ practice of leadership styles and the effectiveness of the supervisor in the professional development of teachers in Al-Dhahirah Governorate. The study recommended the following: Establishing codified mechanisms are included as an item in the educational supervisor’s performance follow-up form so that the leadership styles can be evaluated by educational supervisors by adopting its indicators in accordance with the principles of path and goal theory. The educational supervisors are educated about the importance of the path and goal theory through training workshops qualifying them appropriately. The effectiveness of the training programs needs to be enhanced by adopting it through vocational training centers of renewed enrichment programs in the field of leadership styles and their various theories.
