The study aims to explore the relationship between cognitive distortions and self-efficacy among social workers in Al-Dakhili Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman. The study was conducted on a random sample of students (175) out of (200) social workers. Two scales were used for the study: cognitive distortions (41 items) and self-efficacy (10 items) Scales. The study followed a descriptive-correlational approach. The results indicated that the level of cognitive distortions among social workers was law overall (M=2.11). Whilst the results showed that the level of self-efficacy among the sample was high overall (M=3.46). The study revealed that there is no statistically significant correlation between cognitive distortions and self-efficacy among social workers in Al-Dakhili Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman. According to variables, while the results revealed statistically significant differences in the level of cognitive distortions among social workers due to gender and in favor of males, the results showed that there were no significant differences in the level of cognitive distortions among social workers due to years of experiences. On the contrary, the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the self-efficacy due to gender, whilst the results revealed statistically significant differences in the level of self-efficacy due to years of experiences in favor of more than 10 years.
