This study aims to identify the attitude of the public towards ROP Campaign to reduce road accidents as one of the awareness-raising campaigns. The researcher analyzed and described attitudes by using a questionnaire. The sample was selected from Muscat Governorate according to population distribution of each state of the Governorate. The study concluded that: television and outdoor advertisements ranked first among channels with high public exposure of the campaign. The results showed also that more than half the target audiences are aware of the objectives of the campaign. The public supports the ad figures that have been used in the campaign. The study also shows that the campaign has more strengths than weaknesses and has more opportunities than threats. The results indicate that the campaign is supported by all institutions of society and the concerned authorities (government and private) are cooperating to achieve the objectives of the campaign.
