This study aimed to know the topics that could be addressed by educational media for the development of schools administrative performance in the Sultanate of Oman, and to identify the means that can be used by educational media to do that, and to propose specific mechanisms. In order to achieve the objectives of the study a questionnaire of three domains (topics you want to be addressed in educational media programs to develop administrative performance of the school, means that are considered appropriate for the use of educational media in the development of school management mechanisms and procedures that are considered important for activating the role of the media in the development of school performance) was distributed. The questionnaire consists of (43) statements. The sample size was (193) of the basic schools principals and their assistant. The sample was randomly selected form all the regions around the Sultanate of Oman.
The data was analyzed by using the mean, standard deviations, (t) test, analysis of variance, testing of Shaivism. The results of the study showed that the degree of selecting the topics, procedures and mechanisms for recruitment of educational media in the development of school administrative performance was high in general. The degrees of the questionnaire domains were between high and very high.
The results also indicated that there is significant differences in the level of significance (a = 0.05) due to the gender variable for the domain (topics you want to be addressed in educational media programs for the development of the school administrative performance) for the (male). And there is significant differences in the domain (the mechanisms and procedures that are considers important for activating the role of the media in the development the school administrative performance) for
the (females). And there is no significant differences For the gender variable in the second domain.
There are also significant differences in the level of significance (Q=0.05) due to the experience variable in the estimate of the study sample to the domain (topics you want to addressed in the programmes of educational media for the development the school administrative performance) and (the means that are considers appropriate for the use of educational media in the development of the school administrative (performance) for the (male). And there is significance differences in the domain mechanisms and procedures that are considered important for activating the role of the media in the development of performance management school) for the for (females).
In the light of the study findings, the researcher sets some recommendations, including recommendation for the directorate of the educational media, recommendations for the media means (government and private), and recommendations for the school administration.
