The study aimed at finding out Islamic education teachers attitudes towards teaching profession and its relation to teaching performance regarding the variables of gender and experience. The sample consisted of (40) male and female teachers form A'Dakhliah Region. Two instruments were used to collect the data. First, teaching attitudes scale with (56) statements divided on seven dimensions: General attitudes towards teaching, teachers' attitudes towards teacher personal characteristics, teacher's attitudes towards his students, teacher's attitudes towards his colleagues, teacher's attitudes towards his managers, teacher's attitudes towards Islamic Education curricular and teachers' perspectives of society attitudes towards teachers. Second, an observation sheet for teaching performance. The two instruments were checked and passed validity and reliability tests, reaching the scale reliability coefficient (0.90), and coefficient stability observation card (0.84(The following are some of the important results of the current study: Islamic Education teachers have positive attitudes towards their profession. There is statistical significant differences between teachers attitudes towards teaching and gender in favor for female teachers. There is no statistical significant differences between teachers attitudes towards teaching and experience variable. There is a positive correlation between Islamic teachers attitudes and their teaching performance. Based on the study results, the study has recommended the following points:
To benefit from the teacher's experiences in the educational field by involving him in curriculum development. Support building positive attitudes towards teaching within teachers training programs.
