The study aims to recognize the behavioral characteristics of the superior students in grade 5, cycle-2 in A'Dhahera Governorate – Sultanate of Oman, through the teachers' perspectives and its relationship with the academic achievement. The sample consists of 364 teachers, 209 are male teachers while 155 are female teachers. The sample consists of all members of the community and the study adopts the analytical descriptive method. The Scales for Rating the Behavioral Characteristics of Superior Students (SCRBSS) is used in order to answer the study's questions. The scale is designed by (Renzulli, Smith, White, Callahan & Hartman, 2009), and it is translated by (Al-Zubaidi, Kadhem &Hamadan, 2015). The study conclude with four main results; firstly, the characteristics which are related to learning, reading comprehension, creativity and motivation are obvious in superior students as their teachers noticed that, and these characteristics have high scores. Secondly, there is a significant difference at the level of significance (α≤ 0.05) between male teachers and female teachers in the evaluation of all dimensions of SCRBSS in both genders, and it is in favor of female students. Thirdly, there is a significant difference at the level of significance (α≤ 0.05) in two characteristics (learning & motivation), and the arithmetic average assures that it is in favor of 'Wilayat Dhank'. In contrast, the two characteristics (Reading comprehension & creativity) with the total score of SCRBSS is in favor of 'Wilayat Yanqel'. Fourthly, there is a correlation relationship at the level of significance (α≤ 0.05) in the teachers' evaluation between the characteristics of superior students and their academic achievement.
