This study aimed to know the argumentative mechanisms of the argumentative discourse in the book of " Al-akil byna jemah al-tabi wa tarweed al-share". Also, it aimed to discover the nature of argumentative structure of this book with its strategies and its rule to persuade the recipient
This study consists of three chapters. The first one explained the meaning of argumentation, its mechanisms and relationship with the persuasion. The second chapter mentioned the different týpes of the argumentative mechanisms and its dimensions. The third chapter, discussed the argumentative structures and its characteristics and strategies
This study used the book of " Al-akil byna jemah al-tabi wa tarweed alshare" as a blog because of its argumentative nature and the intellectual issues it arose that enriched the religious discourse in Oman. Another reason is because this book had high attention of many scholars and the writer has an intellective and scientific standing
The study depends on describing the argumentative structures and mechanisms and analyzing them in a systematic way. This was done through the application of the argumentative theory as a procedure for the study and the pragmatic methodology as well. The most important results are that arguments in the blog have proofs that cannot be canceled. This is because the conclusion becomes before the arguments. The arguments have Quranic characteristics.
